I am a mum of 8 children and I have been through a fair few storms in my life, from my own mental health issues and surviving domestic abuse, to financial difficulties, false accusations and divorce.
These challenging experiences nearly made me lose myself. I was functioning and getting through each day, but I sn’t me. I wasn’t enjoying life as I felt I should be. I wasn’t being the parent or the person that I wanted to be.
I was giving so much out and I was gradually feeling depleted.
It was only when I realised that I was valued and worthy, that I started to make changes.
My confidence grew, my belief in myself increased, I was more present with my children and I felt more joy.
